ConnectTherapy™ Certified Practitioners ReCert Summit 2026
Everything new in ConnectTherapy™ since your certification year.
You did the work. The assignments, the exams, the reasoning drilled until it became instinct — you crossed the finish line and earned your certification. And then the model kept growing. The ReCert Summit is where you catch up on everything Dr. LJ Lee has added to the TrueWholeBody™ Physio models — ConnectTherapy™ and the Thoracic Ring Approach™ — since the year you certified. Open to ConnectTherapy™ Certified Practitioners only.

You crossed the finish line. Then the model kept moving.
But wait — there’s more? Yes. There is always more to learn. Since your certification year, LJ has updated ConnectTherapy™ concepts, articulated principles that emerged from her own clinical practice, and developed new techniques. The ReCert Summit is your pathway to all of it.
Practising from the model you learned
Your certification year gave you a framework you trust, and you’ve been applying it faithfully ever since. But what you learned is a snapshot of what ConnectTherapy™ was in that particular year. The clinical questions LJ has answered since, and the refinements she’s found in her own practice, aren’t in it yet.
Practising from the model as it is now
Four days of everything new — clearer steps for releasing Co-Ring Drivers, updated vector analysis for hand and wrist Drivers, and more specificity for Co-Knee-Foot Drivers — alongside the reasoning refinements that make your sessions more efficient and your outcomes more reliable.
- Co-Ring Driver release — clearer guidelines and defined steps, so you create more change with less work.
- Hand & wrist Drivers — updated vector analysis for a region that so often carries the Driver you can’t afford to miss.
- Co-Knee-Foot Drivers — more specificity in how you differentiate them and how you treat them.
- Driver Profile diagnostics — refinements to how you build the profile, read it, and act on it.
- Time management — reach the Driver sooner, so more of the appointment goes to treatment and to your patient.
- Treatment efficacy — principles LJ has articulated from her own clinical practice since your certification year.
- Treating the whole person — keeping the person, not the region, at the centre of every decision.
- Your hardest cases — bring them. Reason them out with LJ and with colleagues from around the world.
Three refinements that change how you work
Each of these came out of LJ’s own clinical practice — the places where she found a better way and then worked out how to teach it.
Co-Ring Driver release
Clearer guidelines and a defined sequence for releasing Co-Ring Drivers — the refinement that makes this treatment both more efficient and more effective, with noticeably less effort from you.
Hand & wrist Drivers
A revised approach to analysing vectors through the hand and wrist, so you can read what the region is doing and treat it with the same precision you already bring to the thorax.
Co-Knee-Foot Drivers
Sharper differentiation and more specific treatment for Co-Knee-Foot Drivers, so the lower extremity stops being the part of the Driver Profile you’re least certain about.
One registration, two components
Four days in the room with LJ at LJLI Headquarters, and the recordings afterward — so nothing you learn has to be held in memory alone.
4 full days in North Vancouver
Hands-on with LJ at LJLI Headquarters — new techniques practised until they’re yours, case discussion drawn from your own clinics, and four days among the small group of clinicians who reason the way you do.
Recordings of every live session
All four days are recorded and released as a virtual component after the Summit. Revisit any technique, any reasoning sequence, any case discussion — as often as you need it.
What you’ll learn & practise
Four days of what has changed — the new techniques, the reasoning refinements, and the clinical principles LJ has articulated since your certification year.
Releasing Co-Ring Drivers
The clearer guidelines and defined steps that make Co-Ring Driver release both more efficient and more effective — with less work.
- Sharper ring corrections: improve your technical Thoracic Ring Corrections to better identify the Thoracic Controllers and the Ring Co-Driver levels.
- A defined sequence: work through the updated steps for releasing Co-Ring Drivers, and understand the reasoning behind the order.
- Less effort, more change: practise the refinements that reduce how hard you have to work to achieve a lasting release.
- When it isn’t working: recognise the signs that you’re releasing in the wrong order — or the wrong ring — and know what to do next.
Updated vector analysis for the hand & wrist
A revised approach to reading and treating vectors through a region that frequently carries a Driver you can’t afford to miss.
- Read the vectors: apply the updated analysis to determine what is driving non-optimal behaviour through the hand and wrist.
- Treat with specificity: direct your release to the vector that matters, rather than to the region that hurts.
- Connect it upstream: reason how hand and wrist findings relate to the thorax, the shoulder girdle, and the rest of the Driver Profile.
More specificity for Co-Knee-Foot Drivers
Sharper differentiation and more specific treatment through the lower extremity.
- Differentiate the Co-Driver: improve your CoKnee/Foot-Ankle corrections to better diagnose these common Drivers.
- Specific treatment: apply the more specific techniques LJ has developed for this combination.
- Integrate with the profile: fit the finding into the whole Driver Profile, so lower-extremity treatment supports rather than competes with the rest of your plan.
Driver Profile diagnostics, efficiency & the whole person
The reasoning refinements and clinical principles that shape how you run a session — and the case discussion that puts them straight to work.
- Driver Profile diagnostics: make sure you’re not skipping steps, refine your skills to be more confident in your Driver Profile.
- Time management: reach the Driver sooner, so more of the appointment goes to treatment — and to the person in front of you.
- Treating the whole person: principles drawn from LJ’s own clinical practice since your certification year.
- Your cases: bring your challenges and your successes, and reason them out with LJ and with the colleagues who share your training.

Dr. LJ Lee
LJ is known internationally for her expertise in the thorax. For more than two decades, her clinical practice and research have focused on this region specifically — the biomechanics, the motor control, the pain science, and the mechanisms connecting it to the rest of the body. That work produced the Thoracic Ring Approach™ and ConnectTherapy™: models built to answer the questions that kept coming up in her own clinic, and in the clinics of the physiotherapists she teaches.
A physiotherapy graduate and Wesbrook Scholar from the University of British Columbia, LJ became a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy (FCAMPT) in 1999 and completed her PhD at the University of Queensland in 2013. Her assessment framework, Meaningful Task Analysis, became a core feature of both the Integrated Systems Model and ConnectTherapy™ — allowing clinicians to determine when a pain-free but dysfunctional region is the actual cause of pain elsewhere.
Those models have never stopped developing. Every year of clinical practice raises new questions and produces new answers, and the ReCert Summit is where LJ brings that work directly to the practitioners who have already earned their certification in it.

What to bring
- A good anatomy book such as Netter, or an anatomy app such as Visible Body.
- Any bone models you have.
- Lab clothing: shorts or pants that allow examination of the entire body. Please wear a normal bra or bikini top that you’ll feel comfortable wearing in front of others. Sports bras don’t work well, and please avoid bras that cover the thoracic spine (no t-back or racer-back). A one-piece bathing suit can work well if it has a more open back.
- Your own travel mug and water bottle.
Food & refreshments
Lunch and snacks aren’t provided. Bring your own lunch — there’s a fridge you can store food in — or use the 1-hour lunch break to visit the restaurants and coffee shops within a 5-minute walk, including the Lonsdale Quay Public Market for coffee, snacks, fresh food and groceries.
We’ll have Nespresso coffee and tea ($1 per cup) and water on hand, so please bring your own travel mug and water bottle.
