What you’ll see
Two cases, ninety minutes
This is your chance to see the models where it matters most — in the clinic, with patients, being reasoned through in real time rather than taught in the abstract.
The success story
A 51‑year‑old woman with an array of meaningful experiences, presenting with right upper pec pain, left abdominal pain, a constant urge to use the toilet, and pelvic floor concerns. An upcoming Certified ConnectTherapy™ Practitioner walks through how ConnectTherapy™ & the Thoracic Ring Approach™ were used to help her — dramatic change in just two treatment sessions, and #truewholebodyphysio at its finest. You see the reasoning, not just the result.
The patient case study
A 29‑year‑old former tennis player with chronic right shoulder pain, temperature fluctuations, and referred symptoms into the hand. Initial treatment targeted his Co‑Driver between the Thoracic Rings and the shoulder, but the cervical spine and head position never fully corrected over his feet. A reassessment identified a Co‑knee/foot Driver that completed the Driver Profile — addressing it alongside the Thoracic Rings finally centred his head over his base of support. The treating therapist brings her remaining questions to LJ: exercise progression for the updated Driver Profile, and managing long gaps between treatments.
Your instructor
Dr. Linda-Joy (LJ) Lee
Physiotherapist · Researcher · Founder, LJ Lee Institute for Physiotherapy & Movement
LJ is known internationally for her expertise in the thorax. For more than two decades, her clinical practice and research have focused on this region specifically — the biomechanics, the motor control, the pain science, and the mechanisms connecting it to the rest of the body.
That work produced ConnectTherapy™ and the Thoracic Ring Approach™ — models built to answer the questions that kept coming up in her own clinic, and in the clinics of the physiotherapists she teaches.
Grand Rounds is where you watch her apply them to cases she hasn’t rehearsed — reasoning through another clinician’s patient, out loud.
