LJ is known internationally for her expertise in the thorax. For more than two decades, her clinical practice and research have focused on this region specifically — the biomechanics, the motor control, the pain science, and the mechanisms connecting it to the rest of the body.

That work produced ConnectTherapy™ and the Thoracic Ring Approach™ — models built to answer the questions that kept coming up in her own clinic, and in the clinics of the physiotherapists she teaches.

Where this came from

Built from what already worked

Grand Rounds grew out of the Refresher course for Series Grads, where patient cases were discussed virtually. Participants kept reporting the same thing: having LJ’s input on a real case moved their clinical practice in a way that more teaching didn’t.

It blows my mind that LJ knew what I was missing with my patients, just from hearing my patient stories. I have applied her suggestions with great success.
